Have you or a loved one been turned down for a Power Chair or Scooter?

Are you tired of waiting up to a year, just to find out that you didn’t qualify?

Did you know that most Health Insurance plans follow Medicare guidelines and it could take Medicare and Medicare Provider up to a year, just to determine if you qualify and will be approved? Appeals can take over 5 Years.

Even with the best Physician Progress/Chart Notes and Physical Therapy Evaluation, claims are being denied as not medically necessary.

If you can do Weight-Bearing activities and take one step, then most likely you would not qualify and be turned down for Power Chair or Scooter. At the very least, you may qualify for a cane, walker/rollator or manual wheelchair.

In addition, Powerchair elevation seat lifts are not covered by Medicare.

If you received a pressure relieving cushion with your wheelchair that was paid by health insurance and are in need of replacement, it is required that a cushion is at least 5 Years old and even then requires a lot of time and documentation to get approved.

Even If You Qualified And Received These Products In The Past, And Require A New Replacement, You Will Most Likely Be Turned Down.
